Dynamic
Leadership Unites Old Rivals
For over 60 years, Wright Cleaners and Cotty's Cleaners
have competed to dominate the Barrie, Ont. market. Today
both are owned by John and Kim Sekleski, newcomers to
the industry. This couple is without the baggage of I-tried-that-and-it-didn't-work,
which prevents many entrepreneurs from reaching their goals.
Their story proves that dry cleaning is a viable investment
today for those with the management skills to make a success
of it.

Coats for Kids (& Folks)
For over a decade now Cotty’s Cleaners, in co-operation
with B101 FM and recently Chay 93.1 FM, have campaigned
during the fall in an effort to provide a warm winter coat
for the less fortunate children in our community. In 2004
Wright Cleaners joined the campaign and began accepting
coats for adults as well as other winter clothing such
as toques, mitts etc. These items and any left over children’s
coats were donated to the Salvation Army for distribution.
The 2006 campaign was a great success with over one thousand
children’s coats being collected, cleaned and distributed.
I would like to personally thank everyone involved as it
is truly a combined effort to insure the continued success
of this important community based initiative.
